Taipei Day 4 to Day 7 (26/04/2009 ~29/04/2009)

Here is a brief summary of Taiwan itinerary from day 4 to 7 in 2009.

Day 4

Taipei storyland - Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall - Taipei City Hall (101) - Wufenpu

Day 5

Hualien

Reached 10am, finish the tour at 6pm, railway train back to taipei at 8pm

Engaged David who is highly raved (NT2700 for 4person) for a one day tour. All of us think that the raves were overrated. He kept on rushing us and kept on saying that because we never stay 1day in Hualien, we might not be able to finish touring the place.We knew that this is true but we are not comfortable with him.

We were like rushing and rushing and the last stop was at Cingshuei Cliff which before starting the tour, he told us that we might not be able to go if the sky got dark.

Oh ya, he brought us to a restaurant-like kind of place for lunch. One plate of rice with some veggie and few slices of pork plus a drink cost us about SGD$10. That is consider expensive and the food SU*K! He didn't sit with us for lunch. Instead he sat with the restaurant owner and we suspected that he will have commission for bringing us there..

6.30pm he droped us at nearby railway station and went off. Because we have booked the 8pm tickets back to taipei, we just wander around the shops nearby the station.

Hualien is very nice, but the tour guide SU*K.  

If i have a chance, I would like to visit Hualien again but i will never ever use this guy anymore....

Day 6

Xinbeitou for hot spring - Danshui & Lover Bridge - Shilin night market again

Day 7

Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall - Last min shopping at TMS underground and XMD - Flight at 7.10pm back to Singapore

Taipei Day 3 -- 25/04/2009

The weather was cold... at about 16 ~ 19 degree..

Engaged Meeky for a day tour to the following places:-

- Yehliu - Shifen - Yingyang Hai - Juifen - Jinguashi - Zhong Zheng Gong Yuan - Keelung night market

** Will post up the photos some other day as i have saved them in another pc...

Engaged Meeky for about 12hours on that day for only NT3000. Shared his cab with a couple ( so each couple only paid NT1500)

We are comfortable with him thus will be engaging his service again this coming Jun.. Yeah, I am going to Taiwan again (I missed Taiwan!!) He charged us NT3300 for 4person to Taoyuan this time.
